"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime"-MARK TWAIN

Blomidon and Ellenswood provencial parks

It's been nearly a week since the last post. We've done a lot this week. Took the ferry from PEI to Nova Scotia, and visited two neat towns. First was Wolfville, NS. Home of the original Acadians.  There was a great Canadian NP that told the story of their lives and of their deportation. I'll try to tell the story with pictures as I'm doing this in my phone.

Next was on to Ellenwood near Yarmouth, NS. A decades long fishing village still active with lobster and herring fishing. Just more pictures as typing on phone is a pain.

Hopefully posted from Tim Hortons in Yarmouth. Where I had a coffee and carrot muffin in honor of my buddy Al, of The Bayfield Bunch... jc

Thanks for taking us on your adventure.
Since this is summer, you could meet up with Al, before returning to the US.
    Stay Safe and Enjoy!

    It's about time.
