"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime"-MARK TWAIN

Prince Edward Island

We spent three days on PEI. Just to say we had been there, I guess. The campground we were in was on the eastern end of the island. Crossing the Confederation bridge could have been exciting, but it was fogged in, so we couldn't see the view.

We spent Sunday and Monday just driving around visiting some light houses, restaurants, and walking some of Charlottetown. Didn't backtrack to Ann of Green Gables vicinity.  Some photos.

We stopped at a nice Harborside restaurant for lunch. Had some wonderful chowder and awesome coconut cream pie.

A few other pictures.

Yesterday, Monday,  we spent some time in Charlottetown. A beautiful and vibrant downtown area. We just walked and looked, and had some Cows ice cream.

Some historical homes.

Walking downtown.

Finished the day with ice cream, and then, beer.

On to Nova Scotia..
