Salvation Mountain.

Located just as one enters Slab City, near Niland, California; you will pass Salvation Mountain.  Not much I can say that the pictures don’t cover.  Just read this story of the how and why, then look at the pictures.  Straight from my little point and shoot.  No manipulation.  You can find much more information on how he built the mountain on Google or Wikipedia.
