"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime"-MARK TWAIN

Bonavista Peninsula

Our original plans called for us to move on to Butter Pot Provincial Park near St John, but Wanda and I did otherwise. We had seen so many wonderful places, things, etc up on the Bonavista Peninsula that we changed our plans. It would have been great to experience both Bonavista and St John, but we didn't have the time. We talked it over with John Dave, but he decided to go on to Butter Pot. We cancelled our reservation there and booked four nights in Lockston Path Provincial Park near the seaside town of Trinity. A small historical fishing village.

Inside Anglican church. Beautiful.

Fancy door closer.
