"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime"-MARK TWAIN

Capitol Reef NP

I took over seventy five photos during our stay at Capitol Reef.  There’s no way I can decide which ones best show our stay there.

A beautiful campground set in and around the old orchards planted over a century ago by Mormon settlers.

Meeting up with other Casitans, and having great campground hosts with a wonderful sense of humor.

Fourteen Casita’s and two SOB’S “some other brand” meet up for a ten day tour of Southern Utah.  An awesome trip we have done twice, previously.

The high point of the week, though, was meeting up with an old friend we haven’t seen in five years.  Picked up right where we left off.

And can’t forget the locally made pies from the campground store.  This was an every morning event.

Too much stuff, not enough time to write about it……more to come   ….jc
