Burr Trail

A part of our group decided to tackle the Burr Trail which winds it way through both Capitol Reef and the Escalante- Grand Staircase national monument.  Some others weren’t as adventurous.  A variety of road surfaces.

We traveled through the heart of the Water Pocket Fold.  As usual, pictures don’t show much.

Saw a pack trip heading up into the Fold.

Then we headed up the switchbacks to get back on top of the plateau.
