"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime"-MARK TWAIN

The Road Home.

We departed Schoodic woods on Sunday morning, July 27th. Our destination that night was once again Dolly Copp nfs campground near Gorham, NH. It was time for an oil change, and I was familiar with a reputable shop in Gorham. We were there a couple of years ago and had tire and front end issues with the truck. They treated me well.

After the oil change first thing Monday morning we were on the road again by 10 AM. Destination for Monday night was a Harvest Host in Ballston Spa, NY. Lots of narrow two lane New York highways.

Tuesday found us at Ive's Run CoE Campground in north central Pennsylvania. We did two nights there, enjoying a rest and local ice cream two days in a row.

Thursday night found us at another CoE campground in Burnsville, West Virginia.

Friday and Saturday nights were near Somerset, KY in another Corp park. Sunday night was Cloudland Canyon SP near Chattanooga.  Monday afternoon about 2PM we rolled down our driveway. 71 days on the road, 70 nights sleeping in the Casita. Second best trip we've done, only surpassed by Alaska.
